On Friday November 7, 2014, the 6th grade students went on a field trip to Stough Canyon Nature Center in Burbank, California. The students participated on an exciting hike. Students had an opportunity to learn more about the three types of rocks, California’s geology, and topography. The hike was followed by an intriguing information session, where the students got a chance to identify the types of rocks they had collected during their hike.
